Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, coordination, and execution of physical infrastructure and facilities-related projects.

The successful candidate will work with technical teams, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure that engineering activities meet required technical, quality, safety, budget, and schedule standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, design, and coordinate civil engineering activities for company infrastructure and facility projects.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
- Conduct site assessments, inspections, measurements, and feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Review construction plans, material requirements, schedules, and project documentation.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and timelines.
- Identify technical issues, construction risks, and potential project delays.
- Recommend appropriate engineering solutions and corrective measures.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable Chilean building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.




- Support procurement and evaluation of construction materials, equipment, and technical services.
- Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Maintain accurate records of engineering decisions, site activities, and project changes.
- Collaborate with technology and logistics teams where physical infrastructure supports cloud or logistics operations.
- Participate in contractor meetings and project coordination sessions.
- Support continuous improvement and sustainable engineering practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Professional engineering registration or equivalent qualification applicable in Chile.
- 2–5 years of relevant civil-engineering experience, preferably involving construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of structural, civil, construction, and infrastructure principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or equivalent tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical reporting.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality control, and project coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.




- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial, industrial, logistics, warehouse, transportation, or technology-related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Chilean construction regulations, permitting processes, and engineering standards.
- Experience with logistics facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, or industrial sites.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction and energy-efficient infrastructure.
- Experience with project-management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering workflows.
- Experience preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and contractor evaluations.
- Project-management certification such as PMP is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills are a plus for working with international clients and partners.
