Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support our users, nonprofit partners, corporate clients, and volunteers in both Spanish and English.
The successful candidate will respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, explain platform features, and ensure users receive a positive and efficient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support through email, phone, live chat, and other communication channels.
- Assist users in both Spanish and English with questions, requests, and technical or account-related issues.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot basic platform, account, registration, and payment-related issues.
- Guide volunteers, nonprofit organizations, and corporate users through platform features and processes.
- Investigate customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions or escalate complex cases.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and support requests.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Identify recurring customer issues and communicate trends to relevant internal teams.
- Provide clear information about volunteer projects, platform services, and account procedures.
- Collaborate with operations, technology, and community teams to resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain a professional and positive customer experience at all times.
- Follow established customer-service policies and data-protection procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant training in Business Administration, Communications, Customer Service, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, client support, call-center operations, help desk, or a similar role.
- Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent listening, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, email, chat platforms, and digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional, patient, and customer-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting customers through phone, email, live chat, or social-media channels.
- Experience using CRM or customer-support platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Previous experience working with digital platforms, technology companies, nonprofits, volunteer organizations, or community services.
- Familiarity with ticketing and help-desk systems.
- Experience working with international customers or multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of basic technical troubleshooting.
- Availability to work versátil schedules when required.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
