Join our small international “Strategic Project Development & Studies” team as a
mining engineer. As part of a comprehensive onboarding program lasting about six
months at our Lauchhammer location in Germany, you’ll gain the skills you need
to subsequently support our team in the South American market from our Santiago,
Chile, office.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Reviewing requests for proposals on mining equipment to identify the basic
operational requirements.
* Developing 2D/3D operational schemes as well as performance data as a basis
for the design of mining equipment and related facilities.
* Participating in mining studies focusing on alternatives for mining solutions
including discontinuous and continuous conveying technologies
* Calculating OPEX
* Developing 2D sequences as well as 3D mining and dumping plans and their
description/presentation.




* Working closely with the project planning team and colleagues from
subsidiaries.
* Conducting selected rock tests; outsourcing specialized tests to third
parties and evaluating the results for the purpose of selecting mining
technologies.

YOUR PROFILE

* A completed technical college degree in mining or a comparable field
* Several years of professional experience (2 to 5 years) in a mining operation
* Communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and intercultural
competence
* Independence, self-organization, and effective time management
* Customer focus (internal/external) and consulting skills
* Willingness to travel internationally
* Fluent Spanish language skills
* Fluent English language skills
