The Scrum Master Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised process related to Agile / Scrum / Kanban in coordination with the Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to manage all Scrum Masters, coordinates all activities related to them in different Scrum Teams and establishes a common process, guidelines and reporting for all activities as part of the entire team.
Responsibilities:
Coach the team on agile practices; facilitates team level events, (Facilitates events, meeting, interactions, - Coach on Agile/Scrum Team)
Manage all Scrum Master as part of the team
Coordinate all activities related to Scrum Masters in different Scrum Teams and establishes a common process, guidelines and reporting
Supports the team rules - The rules of an Agile Team are lightweight, but they are rules nonetheless, and the Scrum Master Manager is responsible for reinforcing them.
Facilitates the team’s progress toward team goals - The Scrum Master Manager is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
Leads team efforts in relentless improvement - Helps the team improve and take responsibility for their actions; facilitates the team retrospective. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves.
Supports the Product Owners - The Scrum Master Manager helps the Product Owners in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
