Position Overview

Genetica Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our technology team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of software solutions supporting our biotechnology and diagnostic operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.




- Troubleshoot software issues and implement effective technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development standards.
- Develop automated tests to improve software reliability and quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and development workflows.
- Follow appropriate security and data-protection practices when handling sensitive information.
- Stay informed about emerging software development technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in software development or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar.
- Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
