About the Role
- As Principal Ore / Mineral Reserve Reporting, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity, consistency,
and regulatory compliance of BHP’s Ore Reserves and Mineral Reserves declarations. Reporting to the Manager, Minerals Reporting, you will act as a trusted technical authority, providing expert guidance across the business to ensure reserves are reported in line with ASX Listing Rules, the JORC Code (2012), and SEC S‑K 1300 requirements.
Working collaboratively with geoscience, mine planning, finance, marketing, and environmental teams, you will help ensure alignment between mineral inventories, mine plans, and external disclosures. You will also play a key role in strengthening the minerals reporting community by promoting best‑in‑class practices, consistency, and continuous improvement—particularly within underground operations.
