Important responsibilities in this role will include:
- Interacting with leading investment banks, to give support to index calculations via data quality verifications, index-level quality controls, selection and rebalances of the products.
- Calculating and maintaining indexes for different sectors and geographies
- Creating new indexes that pursue a given strategy




- Reengineering processes and automation in VBA and Python
- Migrating indexes manually from Excel-VBA to Python
- Successfully delivering ad hoc projects
- Participating in and contributing to team discussions on project-specific areas

Skills we’re looking for:
- Professional degree in finance or engineering, preferably with a major related to finance or programming
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Detail
- and quality-oriented team player
- Able to work well under pressure
- Interested in analyzing and troubleshooting data
- You should identify yourself with one of the industries below:
- Finance: A relevant degree OR strong interest in the financial industry
- Capital Markets: You should have a strong motivation to learn about the capital markets
- MS Excel: You should either be well versed in MS Excel, or be motivated to learn how to use it
