NHS Lanarkshire is comprised of Acute Services (which currently provide hospital based services over 3 main sites), Corporate & Property & Support Services, North and South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships which provide integrated primary healthcare and social care services to local communities and surrounding areas.The Role4 x 18 hours posts & 4 x 24 hour postsTo be observant in helping to reduce/ prevent crime on the UHM SiteTo assist in providing a safe and secure environment for Patients, Staff, VisitorsTo undertake regular patrol of the internal and external site of the UHM sites.To provide help and advice to Patients, Visitors and StaffTo be an advocate for NHSL whilst undertaking their role.The working pattern for this role is Dayshifts - 6hours per day over 7 days on rotation.In This Key Role, You WillThe Security Service operates a 7 days' security and car parking service i.e. monitoring the car park, sticking cars not appropriately parked.The Security department will assist in maintaining the integrity of the building.
This will include closing windows, ensuring doors are locked, reporting broken locks, window etc.
via the helpdeskComplete daily routine tasks i.e. lock down of building, recording of incident logsThe role will be responding to calls involving patients, staff, visitors.
