JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with multiple LAKEWATCH staff at the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS) to help facilitate “hands-on” citizen participation through monthly monitoring activities. Responsibilities include:
- Wash, dry, and organize laboratory glassware, plastic tubes, sample bottles, and other lab equipment; assist in maintaining and cleaning all laboratory workspaces.
- Prepare sample bottle packs, filter packs, and associated data sheets for collection centers.




- Prepare and process samples for mercury analysis and perform other duties as assigned.

This position is located at our SFFGS Millhopper Office.

EXPECTED SALARY:
$14-$16/hr

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
None.

PREFERRED:
No experience required, motivated and confident self-starter to work independently and alongside LAKEWATCH staff is preferred.
