Overview:
The role involves installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, deployments, and production support for critical telecom BSS/OSS platforms in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Application Administration
Middleware Administration (WebLogic / SOA)
- Administer Oracle WebLogic domains, clusters, and managed servers.
- Configure and manage JMS, JDBC, Data Sources, and connection pools.
- Monitor WebLogic server performance and health.
- Troubleshoot thread issues, memory leaks, and server crashes.
Integration & AIA Support
- Support Oracle AIA integrations between OSM, UIM, BRM, and external systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SOA composites and service orchestration.
- Resolve message failures, service errors, and integration issues.
- Work with development teams to deploy and validate integration services.
Production Support
- Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Ensure SLA compliance for incidents and service requests.
- Coordinate with DBA, infrastructure, network,
and development teams during issue resolution.
Automation & Operational Excellence
- Automate operational tasks using Shell scripting or Python.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in DR drills and environment readiness activities.
