About the Role:
We are looking for a data scientist that will help our teams of Metallurgists face the most complex problems in the industry by leveraging the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help us make smarter decisions to optimize our processes and deliver operational excellence through our world class Digital Tools.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Selecting features, building and optimizing models using machine learning techniques.
- Ability to map the right ML techniques (Regressions, Classification, Unsupervised Learning, Anomaly Detection, Reinforcement Learning)
to complex business/technical problems.
- Leveraging data from different sources of information and databases to solve business needs.
- Optimize processes using Standard Optimization Techniques as well as Statistical Process Control.
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
- Help Product Owners at the Digital Factory identify requirements and weigh the effort required to build new analytical features on our products for our users.
- Score, evaluate and track value being driven by the models to our users.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Maths, Electric, Physics, or in a similar field with a deep inclination for Maths, statistics and programing
