What would you do?

You will be responsible for managing/providing computer security for the LATAM region.

Functions and responsibilities:
- Provide information security training to the organization's staff.
- Creation and management of security strategies.
- Supervise information security audits, whether carried out by the organization or by third-party personnel.
- Manage security team members and all other information security personnel
- Assess the department's budget and costs associated with technology training
- Evaluate the current technological architecture in search of vulnerabilities, weaknesses and possible updates or improvements.
- Implement and monitor technology upgrades, enhancements, and major changes to the information security environment.
- Manage and configure physical security, disaster recovery, and data backup systems
- Communicate information security objectives and new programs effectively with other department managers within the organization.




- Experience with common information security management frameworks such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ISO 22301, and data privacy standards (as applicable)
- Experience in developing, reviewing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide information security team members and IT operations staff, and work with mínimal supervision
- Experience in reviewing and validating the clauses and terms and conditions regarding data privacy in confidentiality agreements and contracts.
- Define the security standards of the company's databases, the update procedures and their use. Verify its security and integrity and keep its catalogs up to date.
- Define servers and operational communications network at the highest level of security.
