We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer for a integral financial technology organization. This role will help build and modernize critical payment platform capabilities supporting international financial transactions and foreign exchange services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend services
- Build systems supporting payments, FX, onboarding, and settlements
- Drive architecture and design discussions
- Mentor engineers and support modernization efforts
- Improve reliability, observability, and production readiness
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong C#/.NET or comparable OOP language experience
- AWS cloud experience
- Microservices and event-driven architecture
- Payments, fintech, or regulated industry background
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools
Salary: $60,000-$70,500
