Your future role on our team

As a member of our Mechanical Engineering - Piping team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in plant design, materials handling, pumping and piping systems, structures, equipment selection, industrial maintenance and project development for the mining, energy and manufacturing industries. You’ll also work at our BBA Chile office and collaborate with our offices in Canada.

With us, you’ll get the opportunity to
- Develop technical studies in industrial and mining plants.
- Perform calculations for piping systems and pumps and select industrial equipment.
- Assist experienced staff with the technical aspects of more complex tasks.
- Write technical reports.
- Prepare documents in accordance with the firm’s quality system requirements.
- Review plans and technical specifications based on guidelines for mechanical and piping projects.
- Carry out site visits with our industrial clients.
- Support field work, including implementing designed systems.
- Participate in preparing technical proposals.

Overview of certifications and job requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering (Ingeniería Civil Mecánica)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Available to travel for short-term client site visits
- Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemical, energy, etc.)
- Asset: bilingual (English)
