We are looking for a Marketing-Focused Web Engineer to lead the migration of our Google Tag Manager implementation from client-side to server-side, improving performance and marketing attribution accuracy.
This role will primarily focus on marketing technology, tracking architecture, and website modernization efforts. Depending on business priorities, the engineer may also contribute to the rebuild of our website using Next.js and a headless CMS.

Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Contract, Remote, 6 months (with possibility of extension)
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.30 pm PST

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Contribute to the migration from client-side GTM to server-side GTM
- Collaborate with DevOps to support AWS-based hosting setup




- Ensure accurate tracking and data integrity across GA4 and Google Ads
- Validate attribution flows and lead tracking for marketing optimization
- Integrate marketing tools such as phone tracking and communication platforms
- Configure and validate GA4 events and conversions
- Ensure end-to-end data accuracy between GTM and analytics platforms
- Monitor and optimize tracking performance

Potential Responsibilities (If Project Scope Expands)
- Contribute to rebuilding the website from Drupal to Next.js
- Work with a headless CMS such as Strapi
- Collaborate within a monorepo architecture
- Support Infrastructure as Code workflows (e.g., Terraform) Assist with modern frontend performance optimization

What You Need to Succeed:
