All applicants will need to demonstrate a keen interest in, and knowledge of, consumer trends and the lifestyle issues which surround them. Spanish and English language fluency is required. This position is based out of the Santiago office.
How do Research Analysts make an impact?
Research Analysts will build expertise in a vast range of fast-moving consumer goods and services industries by conducting trade interviews with key industry stakeholders, undertaking desk research and engaging in data analysis and market reporting. Their work will contribute directly to Euromonitor’s syndicated database Passport that informs and guides our clients’ strategy across product categories, industries and geographies.
What are the key responsibilities?
The Research Analysts work as a team under the supervision of their Research Manager and are responsible for updating and developing sections of new and existing datasets and reports for the consumer industries covered. The role includes:
- Secondary research, to gather published information
- Building research contacts by conducting primary research/trade interviews
- Collating and analyzing new research
- Report writing
- Statistical and textual editing
- Assessing and improving overall product quality
- Client-facing responsibilities, including helping clients understand the sources and methodology of published data and reports.
- Developing regional expertise
- Act as a voice for the industry by attending conferences, giving presentations at industry events, participating in PR activities such as webcasts, videocasts, etc.
