The Credit Risk Associate will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the credit risk of the Branch’s corporate banking portfolio, contributing to second-line oversight through due diligence, exposure monitoring, and regulatory reporting. The role will also support the implementation of the Branch’s Comprehensive Risk Management framework.Main responsibilities:Analyze credit proposals and annual reviews for corporate customers, including financial statements, cash flows, industry and market conditions, and borrower risk profiles.Prepare structured credit reports for presentation to the Credit Approval Committee.Identify key risks, assess mitigating factors, and formulate preliminary recommendations in accordance with applicable policies.Monitor the assigned portfolio, including covenant compliance, early warning indicators, changes in borrower risk profiles, and waiver requests.Maintain complete and updated credit files in accordance with CMF, internal audit, and Bank of China requirements.Support the preparation of materials, credit summaries,
and minutes for the Credit Approval Committee.Participate in risk assessments related to new regulations and maintain updated risk records.Prepare credit risk regulatory reports for the CMF and support reports required by Head Office.Monitor agreed action plans and remediation measures across departments.University degree in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in corporate credit risk analysis, preferably within a bank or financial institution.Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, repayment capacity, financing structures, and industry analysis.Experience or knowledge in portfolio monitoring, covenant compliance, early warning indicators, and credit approval processes.Knowledge of Chilean banking regulations and CMF regulatory reporting is desirable.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.Advanced written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively in an international banking environment.Strong analytical skills, professional judgment, attention to detail, and accuracy.Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare and present clear technical reports.Ability to collaborate across departments, meet regulatory deadlines, and handle confidential information.Availability to work exclusively on-site in Santiago.#J-18808-Ljbffr
