Data Platform Architect – Azure & Snowflake at BairesDev

In this role, you'll take a greenfield Azure and Snowflake environment to a production-grade managed platform, replacing manual, ad hoc automation with modern, reliable infrastructure. Owning security and architecture decisions end to end, you'll work side by side with investment professionals, where client-facing communication matters as much as technical depth. This is your opportunity to build a modern data platform from the ground up in a regulated environment,



shaping both the technical architecture and the trust that business stakeholders place in it.

What You'll Do
- Design and build Azure data architecture from the ground up, replacing manual processes with managed services.
- Set up Snowflake greenfield environments, including accounts, warehouses, RBAC, masking, and row-level security.
- Design access architecture using Entra ID and managed identity.
- Build event-driven ingestion pipelines, including change-triggered extraction, queues, and webhooks.
- Own security posture and architecture decisions in a regulated environment.
- Work directly with investment professionals as the client-facing technical authority.

What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture.
