Finance Associate Director, Fitch Group Chile

Fitch Group Finance team is currently seeking a Finance Associate Director based in Chile.

The Finance team operates under a matrix management structure with regional and functional heads.

Latin

America comprises Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Chile, Panama (including some transactions in Nicaragua), El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras.

The role will be part of the Finance team responsible for a broad range of activities including treasury, payroll, accounting and taxes, financial reporting, financial statements, local legal and statutory compliance, and interaction with other departments to support business needs. This is a key position requiring a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across teams and geographies.

We’ll Count On You To

Manage treasury activities including billings, collections, payments, and cash flow oversightOversee payroll processes

Support accounting and tax activities

Prepare and review financial reporting for local requirements and Brazil / LatAm Hub reporting

Support preparation of financial statements

Ensure compliance with local legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements

Interact with other departments, mainly BRM, to provide finance-related information needed by the business

Support finance-related projects and ad-hoc initiatives





Work collaboratively across the regional finance structure to meet business needs and timelines

What You Need To Have

Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experienceKnowledge of IFRS

Fluency in English, verbal and written

Well-developed communication skills, verbal and written

Demonstrable track record of success as part of a finance team

Self-motivated, self-reliant and with a hands-on approach

Excellent attention to detail

Dynamic approach and ability to contribute well in cross-functional teams

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet business needs and deadlines

Ability to work flexibly where required

Confidence to liaise with colleagues across group entities, departments, and countries

Professional and respectful interpersonal style

Proactive mindset with the ability to contribute ideas to enhance systems and processes

Strong sense of initiative and accountability
