This role supports the design and management of 'trust initiatives' within the Infrastructure area, focusing on fostering effective links between Mapuche communities and public institutions.
Job purpose:
Job purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide support in the design and management of trust initiatives within the Infrastructure area, specifically for the "Technical Assistance to the Regional Government of Los Ríos for the territorial development planning of the Mapuche people" project. This involves guiding the formulation, effective implementation, and participatory monitoring of these initiatives. The role is crucial for translating community priorities into viable intervention proposals, ensuring technical quality,
and fostering sustainable development aligned with project objectives and the needs of the Mapuche people and public institutions. It contributes to strengthening the relationship between the State and the Mapuche people, promoting effective participation in public decision-making, and advancing a development model with identity, equity, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include supporting the design of trust initiatives and project formulation, collaborating with the UNDP technical team, local communities, ancestral authorities, and the Regional Government.
