Purpose and objective
Ensure effective legal support and governance throughout the project lifecycle, providing advice on contract management, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and dispute avoidance. The role contributes to the business by safeguarding the company's legal interests, enabling successful project execution, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.



It adds value by identifying and mitigating legal risks, enhancing contractual protections, and supporting informed business decision-making to achieve project objectives.
Education And Skills
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited Chilean university.
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Chile.
- Demonstrated understanding of Environmental law and permits regulations. LLM would be an advantage
- At least Upper Intermediate English level
- Cross-Cultural Communication skills

Experience Required
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer or external counsel supporting major projects, infrastructure, mining, energy or natural resources operations.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and project-related contracts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborated with multiple groups of internal and external stakeholders.
