Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support and develop market risk applications for one top financial institution in US. You will join a general team of professionals providing services to major clients in the financial industry.

Work Schedule
- This is a late-shift position.
- Working hours will be either 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, depending on business requirements.
- Candidates must be comfortable working these hours on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support business and market risk functions.
- Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
- Document operational procedures,



workflows, and technical solutions.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and data processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years working on financial services projects, preferably within the Market Risk domain.
- Strong experience in SQL and database development, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational and dimensional databases, as well as data warehouse concepts.
