Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's email systems strategy
- Oversee email infrastructure, platforms, servers, and related services
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of email systems
- Manage SMTP, DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations
- Monitor email deliverability, reputation, and system performance
- Implement security controls to protect email systems from threats
- Oversee anti-spam, phishing, malware, and email security solutions
- Manage Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, or equivalent platforms
- Lead email migrations, upgrades, integrations, and infrastructure projects
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and automation processes
- Establish email security policies and technical standards
- Monitor system capacity, performance, and availability
- Lead responses to major email and infrastructure incidents
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Manage technology vendors and service providers
- Monitor technical KPIs and prepare performance reports
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead, coach, and develop email and infrastructure teams
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT,



operations, and business teams
- Ensure email systems follow applicable security, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Evaluate emerging email and communication technologies
- Present technical strategies and recommendations to senior leadership

Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in email systems, IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field
- Previous technical leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of email protocols and authentication standards
- Experience with SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
- Understanding of cybersecurity and email threat protection
- Experience managing technical projects and infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant Microsoft, cloud, cybersecurity, or networking certifications are an advantage
