Technical Support Specialist

Location: Santiago, Chile
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: CLP $750,000 – $950,000 per month
Experience: 1-3 years preferred

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Chile.

The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to customers and employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure users receive fast and effective technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first- and second-level technical support to users.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, applications, and IT equipment.
- Respond to technical support requests by phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Create and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
- Assist with user accounts, passwords, access permissions, and system configurations.
- Perform routine maintenance and system updates.
- Support remote and on-site users.
- Provide clear and professional customer service.
- Follow IT security, data protection, and company procedures.

Requirements

- Technical degree or training in IT, Computer Science,



Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in technical support or help desk roles preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, hardware, and basic networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage for on-site support roles.
