Senior IT Financial Planning & Control Analyst

About the Role

Clínica MEDS is seeking a Senior IT Financial Planning & Control Analyst to manage and analyze financial, budgetary, and operational information for the Digital Transformation and IT Management division. The role will support efficient resource allocation and strategic decision-making across technology initiatives. It will collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT, providing accurate reporting, budget control, contract oversight, and financial analysis for management and executive reviews.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and consolidate the division’s annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Prepare and update financial forecasts and projections.
- Evaluate the financial viability of Digital Transformation and IT projects.
- Monitor budget execution, identify variances and trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and optimization of technology spending, including cloud platforms and managed services.
- Design dashboards, reports, and financial performance indicators.
- Prepare financial information for committees and executive reviews.
- Manage financial and contractual risks related to suppliers, contracts, licenses, and renewals.
- Control contracts, licenses, subscriptions, and technology services.
- Review and reconcile supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and services delivered.
- Manage purchase requests and track them through to payment.
- Manage provisions and support the division’s accounting close processes.
- Maintain accurate financial and contractual information.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT to resolve discrepancies and financial requirements.

Required Skills

- Professional degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Auditing, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in similar roles.
- Advanced Excel.
- Power BI.

- Strong analytical and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in financial planning, management control, or financial management within IT departments.
- Previous experience as a Senior Management Control Analyst, Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Business Controller, or Financial Planning Analyst.
- Experience managing technology services.
- Knowledge of Technology and Digital Transformation.

- Evaluate the financial impact of technology projects and initiatives.
- Support financial reporting, governance, and executive decision-making for technology spend.
