Monthly Salary: 1,800,000 CLP to 2,800,000 CLP (Gross, based on professional background, PLC programming proficiency, and industrial sector experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Automation Control Engineer to design, program, commission, and optimize industrial automation systems for our operations across Chile. You will work at the intersection of electrical hardware, software logic, and industrial networks to ensure high plant efficiency, strict safety standards, and reliable control architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- PLC & HMI Programming: Develop, test, and troubleshoot control logic for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) using tier-one platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).
- SCADA/DCS Integration: Design and configure Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems to track real-time operational data, alarms, and performance trends.
- System Design & Commissioning: Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrating sensors, actuators, and industrial networking protocols (Profinet, Modbus).
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, reduce machine downtime,



and upgrade legacy control systems to modern operational technology (OT) standards.
- Safety Compliance: Implement machinery safety logic and risk assessment protocols according to international and local industrial safety codes (ISO 13849).

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, mining, manufacturing, or energy sectors in Chile.
- Technical Mastery: Strong command of IEC 61131-3 programming languages, industrial fieldbuses, and hardware configuration.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting dexterity under pressure, and effective project collaboration.
- Legal Status: Valid work authorization in Chile (Rut Vigente).

Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Gross Base Salary: CLP 1,800,000 - CLP 2,800,000.
