IT Financial Controller

As part of the IT Management Control team and reporting to the IT Financial Controller, you will help steer the economic performance of the IT department. You will also supervise one Management Controller and contribute directly to the team’s financial deliverables. Acting as a Business Partner to IT Directors, you will ensure reliable forecasts, high-quality monthly closings, and accurate financial reporting. You will support investment and IT transformation decisions through financial analysis and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the IT department.
- Consolidate IT financial data, including Capex, Opex, payroll, external services, licenses, and outsourcing costs.
- Produce and analyze financial reports, KPIs, and business review materials.
- Prepare economic analyses to support management decisions and budget arbitration.
- Support IT departments in managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Lead monthly performance reviews with IT Directors and their teams.
- Challenge budget assumptions and projected year-end results.
- Conduct financial analyses and ad hoc studies.
- Contribute to consolidated reporting, budget and forecast consolidation, and monthly closing activities, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and recharges.
- Monitor payroll, headcount, and external costs.
- Ensure the quality of financial data in management tools, including Abraxio, HFM, and the ERP.
- Organize, prioritize, and allocate activities within the team.
- Support the development of the Management Controller.
- Drive continuous improvement of management control processes and tools, including through the use of artificial intelligence.

Required Skills

- Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control,



or Business.
- 7–10 years of experience in management control, ideally in an IT or project environment.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and financial consolidation processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Leadership and team-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical and summarization abilities.
- Rigor and autonomy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Abraxio or an EPM tool.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence or data tools.

Benefits

- No probationary period.
- Base salary of €40,000–€55,000, depending on experience, paid over 13.3 months.
- Fixed annual water-sector allowance of €400 gross.
