The Position The Corporate Affairs Lead is responsible for developing and executing the corporate affairs strategy in Chile to strengthen the company's reputation, advance business priorities, and create a favorable environment for patients, healthcare systems, and society.

This role serves as a strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team and leads stakeholder engagement, policy and advocacy initiatives, corporate communications, issues management, support to sustainability programs, and external partnerships. The incumbent ensures that the company is recognized as a trusted healthcare and market partner while protecting and enhancing corporate reputation in alignment with regional and global objectives.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Lead Corporate Affairs strategy and serve as a strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team on reputation, policy, and external affairs.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, industry associations, healthcare and animal health stakeholders, academia, NGOs, and media.

- Monitor policy, regulatory, and market developments, shaping advocacy efforts that support innovation, sustainability, and business growth.

- Drive stakeholder engagement programs that strengthen partnerships, trust, and the company’s position as a leading healthcare and animal health partner.

- Lead internal and external communications, including media relations, executive communications, thought leadership, and corporate storytelling.

- Manage reputation risks, issues, and crisis communications, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership.

- Oversee ESG, Corporate Responsibility, and sustainability initiatives, demonstrating the company’s impact on society, health, and animal welfare.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, regulatory, legal, compliance, technical, and business teams to ensure aligned external engagement and advocacy strategies.

Required

Education

- Bachelor's degree required.

- Advanced degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications,



Public Policy, International Relations, Journalism, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- Advanced English.

Experience

- - 5+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Communications, Policy, or related functions.

- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, healthcare consulting, or highly regulated sectors preferred.

- Demonstrated success influencing complex stakeholder environments.

- Experience managing reputation, communications, and policy-related initiatives.

- Proven track record advising senior executives and leadership teams.
