NHS Lanarkshire is comprised of Acute Services (which currently provide hospital based services over 3 main sites), Corporate & Property & Support Services, North and South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships which provide integrated primary healthcare and social care services to local communities and surrounding areas.The RoleThis is an exciting Team Lead opportunity in MOA/Frailty and Stroke physiotherapy services within University Hospital Monklands.The role requires an enthusiastic and forward thinking individual with a focus on quality service delivery and a service improvement approach.This role would incorporate our Stroke rehab team who work in a designated stroke unit, our MOA team who provide inpatient rehabilitation across two MOA rehabilitation wards, and we also have a designated front door Frailty Assessment Unit.The post holder will work strategically within the Frailty/MOA/Stroke Specialty Groups in NHSL to deliver workplan objectives.Successful candidates will work within a collaborative team, benefit from ongoing professional development, and contribute to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.There is also a requirement to participate in the evening/weekend on call rota.In This Key Role, You WillManage the team within your care group area as delegated by the care group lead, including chairing regular team meetings.Delegate appropriate tasks and supervise more junior staff (as per organisational chart)
