- Lead and manage institutional investment operations teams covering full trade lifecycle including onboarding, settlements, reconciliations, FX, prime services, and asset servicing for institutional clients
- Oversee day-to-day institutional operations ensuring accurate and timely processing of trades, settlements, corporate actions, income collections, proxy events, and cash management across custody and investment platforms
- Serve as primary senior operational point of contact for institutional clients, custodians, fund administrators, prime brokers, and external service providers
- Ensure strict adherence to banking regulations, fiduciary standards (OCC), and internal audit requirements; maintain strong internal control environment aligned with enterprise risk framework
- Supervise asset safekeeping, settlement, reconciliation, trade fails review, exception reporting, suspension balances, and cash management including overdraft monitoring
- Lead operational due diligence preparation for institutional investor reviews; coordinate responses across operations function and manage escalated exceptions requiring VP-level judgment
- Manage pricing disputes, trade fails with market impact, regulatory deadline issues, and complex operational escalations with cross-functional stakeholders
- Oversee bond accounting functions including interest accruals, amortization of premiums/discounts, pricing verification, and reconciliation of fixed income holdings within custody systems
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets for institutional services division




- Lead major operational initiatives: system migrations, process redesigns, new product launches, geographic expansions, and technology transformations

Typical Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- 18+ years of progressive institutional operations, investment operations, custody operations, or financial services operations leadership experience
- 10+ years in senior institutional operations leadership roles (VP, SVP, ED) with P&L; or operational accountability
- Deep expertise in institutional investment operations including trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, corporate actions, FX, prime brokerage, and custody administration
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, fiduciary standards (OCC), KYC/AML requirements, and operational risk management frameworks
- Proven track record scaling and improving operations in complex, regulated financial services environment
