Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The adecuado candidate will support the development, testing and implementation of Python applications. You will join a global team of professionals providing services to major clients in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications for market risk analysis and reporting.
- Integrate risk models and data pipelines with internal systems and databases.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and validate risk models (e.g., VaR, stress testing).
- Optimize performance of large-scale data processing and analytics tasks.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Support ad-hoc risk analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in a financial institution.
- Understanding of financial markets and market risk concepts (e.g., VaR, sensitivities, risk factors).
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly).
- Familiarity with SQL and working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
