The Grand Gardner Hotel is an Urschel Development property located in Downtown Valparaiso, IN. Urschel Development is a fully owned subsidiary of Urschel Laboratories located in Chesterton, Indiana.

This independent boutique hotel is located on a quiet, tree-lined street just steps away from downtown Valparaiso. Designed to feel welcoming to both guests and employees, it features 58 rooms and suites, a full-service restaurant, a speakeasy, banquets space and inviting shared spaces. The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service with a focus on professional beverage preparation and hospitality in the restaurant and outlet areas. This role involves managing liquor inventory, preparing garnishes, and maintaining a deep knowledge of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails to offer pairing suggestions. The Bartender ensures accurate billing through the POS system, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and collaborates closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
