Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Managed IoT Network Platform team. This role is idóneo for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges across the full application stack, with a strong focus on backend development, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and distributed systems.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining a platform that supports large-scale IoT connectivity solutions while collaborating with globally distributed teams.
This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at the Santiago office twice per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for a Managed IoT platform.
- Build and enhance backend services using Node.js.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions, including complex business logic.
- Write and optimize stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries.
- Troubleshoot issues across frontend applications, backend services, databases, and system integrations.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive software quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
