For one of our clients, we are looking for an Aviation Technician/Driver. As an Aviation Technician/Driver, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing aviation fuel to customers in accordance with established operating procedures, safety standards, and HSSE requirements.

Your role includes inspecting and monitoring fuel storage and dispensing equipment, performing fuel quality checks, maintaining accurate operational records, and ensuring that fueling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements

- Technical Certificate or equivalent experience in Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of HSSE regulations and ISO standards
- Valid Motor Lorry and/or Tractor licence

- Strong attention to detail

What will you be doing? As an Aviation Technician/Driver, your key responsibilities involve supporting the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of aviation fuel. You will inspect plant equipment at the required intervals, including storage tanks, oil-water separators, filter vessels, pipelines, firefighting systems, power generators, and level alarm systems, and accurately document all inspection findings.



You will also inspect service and refueling vehicles, including storage tanks, product recovery systems, filter vessels, pipelines, firefighting systems, product levels, engine fluid levels, and tires, ensuring that all equipment is in proper working condition.

You will correctly complete fueling assignments in accordance with established operating procedures and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately. During fueling operations, you will supervise the approach, refueling, and removal of equipment to ensure that operations are performed safely and according to established procedures. You will perform Clear & Bright quality tests during each fueling operation to help ensure that fuel contamination is prevented.

Additionally, you will monitor and record deadman switch operation and operating time, accurately document fuel transactions, quantities dispensed, and inventory levels, and maintain appropriate accounting and safety records. You will participate in safety-related programs and activities and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable HSSE requirements and operational standards. The role also requires you to identify and report equipment defects, safety concerns, and other operational irregularities to the Aviation Supervisor.
