The Information Systems Officer reports to Chief of the Section. The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean is one of the five regional Commissions of the United Nations. The Information Systems Officer will be responsible for the following duties: • Maintain the continuous operation of critical computer systems for ECLAC,



supervise the operation of the central infrastructure area, and maintain close coordination with other units within the section. • Support the installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of on-premises and cloud-hosted systems and services. • Supervise the continuous operation of ECLAC's data center and central ICT infrastructure. • Plan the capacity and availability of central ICT infrastructure services and operations. • Establish and measure the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Infrastructure Services Unit. • Lead and participate in feasibility studies, systems analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and moderately complex systems involving infrastructure services. • Provide specialized advice to users by analyzing their requirements and translating them into effective technology solutions. • Determine integration and interfacing requirements with existing applications. • Be respon
