About the Role The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of all IT operations while leading a multidisciplinary team and driving technology initiatives. This role requires a balanced profile capable of managing day-to-day services, leading projects, engaging with business stakeholders, and implementing improvements that support organizational growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
IT Operations Management
- Oversee daily IT operations, including infrastructure team, applications, networks, service desk, and cybersecurity.
- Ensure service availability, monitor performance, and manage SLA’s and compliance.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to guarantee high-quality delivery.
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop IT teams across multiple domains.
- Set priorities, allocate resources, and balance operational tasks with project demands.
- Conduct performance reviews, ensure skill development, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Project & Innovation Management
- Manage and execute technology projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Evaluate and propose new technologies that improve efficiency, user experience, and business value.
- Build business cases, manage risks, and ensure governance and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Champion automation,
digital tools, and process optimization initiatives.
Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business areas.
- Translate business needs into IT requirements and solutions.
- Communicate progress, risks, and impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive user satisfaction and strengthen IT’s role as a strategic partner.
Security, Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to corporate cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Coordinate audits, remediation plans, and compliance requirements (SOX, ISO, GDPR, etc.).
- Promote secure practices across operations and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in IT operations and project management.
- Proven experience leading technical teams in corporate or multinational environments.
- Experience managing vendors and external service providers.
- Fluent in English
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, enterprise applications (ERP/CRM), and integrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and risk management.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP preferred).
- Familiar with M&A; projects and environments with several platforms and ERP’s
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and investment cases.
