Albemarle is hiring for a DLE Process & Technology Superintendent. This position is onsite and located in Santiago, Chile.
What You Will Do
- Lead the process technology strategy for the DLE operation.
- Manage process optimization, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership to operations, project and commissioning teams.
- Ensure process stability, quality, productivity and recovery targets are achieved.
- Lead process control, process engineering and technology improvement activities.
- Support operational readiness and ramp-up of the DLE facility.
- Drive innovation and best practices to maximize plant performance.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial processing experience.
- Experience leading process engineering and process technology teams.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization and process control systems.
- Experience supporting plant start-up, operational readiness or commissioning activities.
Preferred
- Postgraduate studies related to Process Engineering, Metallurgy or Operational Excellence.
- Experience in lithium, mining, chemicals or hydrometallurgical operations.
- Experience with advanced process control and digital technologies.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
