Job Title: Promotor / Promotora (Community Liaison / Promoter)

Job Summary The Promotor/Promotora serves as a trusted liaison between the organization and the target community. This role involves educating the public, promoting programs or products, and bridging cultural and linguistic gaps to ensure effective communication. The idóneo candidate is a trusted member of the community who can engage, inform, and motivate individuals to take action.

Key Responsibilities

- Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for community members, building trust and rapport.
- Education & Outreach: Conduct presentations, workshops, and one-on-one sessions to educate the target audience on [specific topic: health, services, products].
- Promotion: Distribute marketing materials (flyers, brochures) and promote [organization's services/products] at community events, fairs, and door-to-door visits.
- Translation & Interpretation: Provide linguistic and cultural translation for materials and during meetings (if bilingual is required).
- Data Collection: Track interactions, attendance,



and feedback using surveys or digital tools.
- Referral & Navigation: Guide community members to appropriate resources, appointments, or sales representatives.
- Reporting: Submit weekly/monthly reports on outreach activities and community feedback.

Qualifications

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred in [relevant field]).
- Experience: Previous experience in community outreach, sales, customer service, or peer education.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry).

Working Conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19,000 - $1,100,000 per month
