Job Title: Promotor / Promotora (Promoter / Brand Ambassador)

Department: Marketing / Community Outreach / Sales

Reports To: Program Manager / Marketing Director

Job Summary The Promotor/Promotora is responsible for representing the organization within the community, increasing awareness of products, services, or health initiatives, and driving engagement. This role requires a dynamic individual who is bilingual (often Spanish/English), culturally competent, and comfortable with public speaking and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Community Outreach: Act as a liaison between the organization and the target community. Build trust and rapport with community members, leaders, and local organizations.
- Education & Awareness: Distribute educational materials, explain program benefits, and answer questions regarding services or products.
- Event Representation: Attend health fairs, community events, retail locations, or pop-up sites to set up booths, distribute samples, and engage with the public.
- Data Collection: Collect leads, sign-ups, or survey data from participants and report findings to management.
- Feedback Loop: Report community concerns, questions,



and feedback to the organization to help improve services.
- Logistics: Manage inventory of promotional materials, flyers, and giveaways.

Qualifications

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (depending on industry).
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, community organizing, or public health outreach.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is frequently required for this title.
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Ability to work independently and manage a versátil schedule (including evenings/weekends).
- Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of the local community.

Working Conditions

- Frequent travel within a specific geographic area.
- Ability to stand for long periods at events.
- May require lifting of promotional materials (up to 25 lbs).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19,000 - $1,100,000 per month

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
