Senior Business Development Manager — Mining Technology (Santiago / LATAM)
YNSAT is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our commercial growth across the Latin American mining sector, based in Santiago, Chile. We're looking for a hunter — someone who thrives on cracking open new accounts and selling smart technology to serious mining players.
YNSAT is a integral geospatial intelligence company building SaaS platforms used across the entire mining cycle — from exploration through operations to closure. We work with Tier-1 mining clients across multiple continents, our growth has accelerated through 2025 and 2026, and Latin America has become a key market for the company.
You'd be joining a team that combines geospatial tech, mining domain expertise, and enterprise SaaS — the three disciplines this work actually requires. Decisions get made in days, not quarters, and you'd report directly to the founder and CEO. The person who builds our Latin American business will have a real hand in what we become across the region.
The role
This is a full-cycle new business development role covering the Latin American mining sector, initially focused on Chile and Peru — from Tier-1 majors to mid-tier producers. You'll own:
→ New logo acquisition end-to-end: prospecting, qualifying, demoing, negotiating, closing
→ Selling across the full mining lifecycle, which means multiple distinct buyer personas, like exploration and operations teams. Your job is to know which door to knock on.
→ Making the calls on how we attack the Latin American market — accounts, sequencing, sales motion
→ A direct line to the founders, no layers between you and product decisions
This is a hunter role, not an account-management role. If you're happiest fielding inbound leads and renewing existing accounts, this isn't for you.

What we're looking for
→ A culture match. Energetic, ambitious, and at your best in a fast-moving environment where you're trusted to make calls
→ 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in mining software or mining technology, ideally at companies such as Seequent, Datamine, Micromine, Maptek, Hexagon Mining, or similar providers.
→ A real network across the Latin American mining sector, with demonstrated experience acquiring new clients and closing deals.
→ Consistent quota delivery in roles where you owned the full sales cycle
→ Comfortable speaking the language of mining — able to hold a conversation with prospects like a geologist, or an ops manager on their own terms.
→ Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles end-to-end via CRM
→ Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
→ Based in Santiago, Chile.
