A multinational company in the commercial and distribution sector is seeking an Andean Regional Deputy Manager of Finance and Accounting to lead and manage the finance and accounting functions across its operations, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, effective financial planning, and timely reporting to support decision-making.

The position reports to the Corporate Finance Manager and oversees a team of approximately 10 people .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all Finance and Accounting functions, including treasury, collections, and management control.
- Coordinate and oversee operational budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor liquidity, cash flow, and working capital.
- Prepare financial reports, projections, and performance analyses for corporate management.
- Monitor financial KPIs, including EBITDA, operating margin, accounts receivable, inventory turnover, the cash conversion cycle, and cash flow.
- Manage local financing and relationships with financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
- Identify and manage financial and accounting risks.
- Lead the monthly accounting close, ensuring completion by the sixth business day of the following month.
- Manage and monitor intercompany loans, including accounting entries, supporting records, and documentation.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and advisors.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives, working capital optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.




- Anticipate funding needs through effective cash flow planning.

Requirements

- A degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business and Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- More than eight years of professional experience , including senior management, deputy management, or equivalent roles.
- Experience overseeing multiple Finance and Accounting functions simultaneously.
- Experience in multinational companies , preferably in commerce, distribution, retail, consumer goods, food, or similar sectors.
- Experience leading teams.
- Proficiency in IFRS accounting standards .
- Proficiency in SAP Business One .
- Advanced spoken and written English — mandatory.
- Experience managing financial operations across more than one country is desirable.
