Are you passionate about shaping the future of mining through cutting-edge automation, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence? ABB is looking for a LATAM Business Development – Autonomous Operations to join our Process Industries team, acting across Brazil, Peru, and Chile.
If you have deep expertise in the mining industry, a strong understanding of automation and digital technologies, and the ability to engage C-level stakeholders in consultative conversations, this opportunity is for you
Responsibilities
• Act as the primary interface with mining customers across Latin America, understanding their operational challenges and translating them into Autonomous Operations solutions.
• Lead consultative engagements with key accounts, listening,
analyzing, and designing tailored solutions that combine automation, digital, and AI capabilities.
• Develop and articulate the solution architecture for Autonomous Operations, bridging customer needs with ABB's technology portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with R&D; and internal teams to drive solution development and ensure alignment between market demand and product roadmap.
• Create and materialize business opportunities by identifying customer pain points and building compelling value propositions, from concept to solution design.
• Navigate executive-level conversations (C-Level), positioning ABB as a strategic partner in the journey toward autonomous mining operations.
• Support the go-to-market strategy for Autonomous Operations in the mining segment, with a focus on concentrator plants.
