The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our corporate development team and help us identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities. The role offers hands-on exposure to the early stages of the M&A; process, from market research and target identification to financial analysis, initial opportunity assessment, and outreach to founders. As part of a lean team, you will work directly with Solen's M&A; professionals, take ownership of meaningful projects,



and contribute to real acquisition decisions. This is an opportunity for someone interested in M&A;, strategy, and evaluating businesses to develop strong analytical and commercial skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and map markets to identify potential B2B software acquisition targets.
• Build and maintain databases of potential acquisition targets.
• Gather and analyze financial and operational information on target companies.
• Support the preliminary evaluation of companies and their strategic fit.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
• Help develop and refine target selection criteria and acquisition strategies.
• Prepare analyses and materials to support internal discussions on potential acquisitions.
• Support outreach to founders, business owners, and intermediaries, and keep the M&A; pipeline up to date.
