Mining and Metals:

Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy-and the need for commodities-is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.

Job Summary:
Help Desk Operations

In this role, you will provide 24x7 first line support for IT services to Bechtel users (internal and external). You will respond to IT requests and incidents received via phone, chat, email or self:service, troubleshoot issues remotely, document troubleshooting and escalating when needed. You will also provide feedback, assist in the development of new procedures,



and participate in the rollout of new technologies and services. Your work will contribute to enhanced performance of IT infrastructure, applications, network, and collaboration services globally.

This position is designated as part:time telework per our general telework policy and may require at least three days of in:person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in:person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".

Major Responsibilities:
:
Provides 24 x 7 first line support for IT services to Bechtel users (including a rotating weekend schedule)
:
Follows standard operating procedures for IT requests and incident services to the end:user.
:
Troubleshoots end user performance issues remotely for IT infrastructure, applications, network, and collaboration services globally.
:
Provides feedback and assists in development of procedures, work instructions and new scopes.
:
Participates in the rollout of new technologies, services, and security remediations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a University Hire with 1:2 years of experience or 5:6 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
:
Bi:Lingual (English and Spanish)

Experience with Office 365 suite of applications

Knowledge and Experience with standard hardware, software and operating systems

Basic knowledge of remote troubleshooting, ex. VPN

Knowledge of networking technologies and principles
:
Experience and basic understanding of Active Directory
:
Excellent customer service skills
:
Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
:
Right to live and work in country of assignment without sponsorship
