SAP TM & BN4L Lead Consultant

Experience: 8-12+ years in SAP, including 5+ years in SAP TM
Location: Nearshore with US time-zone overlap
Project Type: SAP S/4HANA TM and BN4L rollout and implementation

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) and SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) Lead Consultant to support end-to-end implementation and rollout activities for a US-based client. The consultant will lead solution design, configuration, integration, testing, carrier onboarding, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and stakeholder coordination across transportation and logistics processes.

• Freight Unit Building Rules (FUBR) and freight unit management
• Freight Order and Freight Booking management
• Carrier selection, tendering, confirmation, and transportation execution
• Transportation Charge Management, rate tables, freight agreements, charge calculation sheets, and freight settlement
• Planning profiles, selection profiles, BRF+, PPF actions,



and VSR optimizer concepts
• SAP TM integration with SAP S/4HANA, EWM, SD, MM, and FI/CO
• SAP Fiori applications and interface/background-job monitoring

BN4L Skills• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Network for Logistics / Logistics Business Network (BN4L/LBN).
• Carrier onboarding and carrier-network configuration.
• Freight tendering and carrier collaboration through BN4L.
• Shipment visibility, track-and-trace, event and milestone processing.
• EDI/IDoc integration and troubleshooting between SAP TM, BN4L, carriers, and external logistics platforms.
• Experience resolving tender-response failures, connectivity issues, and transaction exceptions.

Integration and Technical Exposure• EDI transactions such as 204, 210, 214, and 990.
• IDoc, API, and SAP Integration Suite / CPI concepts.
• Project44 or similar transportation visibility platform integration.
• BOPF framework, BRF+, PPF,
