A Day in the Life:
• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and infrastructure solutions, leveraging Azure or AWS while supporting on-premises environments as needed.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and environment management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments, ensuring consistency, reliability, and security across environments.
• Design and implement append-only, tamper-evident audit logging solutions to ensure data integrity, traceability,
and accountability across systems.
• Develop and enforce security guardrail policies, leveraging policy engines such as Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Cedar to support governance and compliance requirements.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management (IAM) controls, including role-based permissions and secure access policies to protect sensitive systems and data.
• Lead infrastructure security hardening efforts, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and supporting compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
• Manage environment configuration, database backup and restoration processes, and data masking procedures to support secure and reliable operations.
• Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI int
