Ingeniero Especialista en Seguridad ( Chekpoint - Bilingüe)We are looking for an Engineer Specialist in Security with solid experience in Check Point and ability to operate in multi‑vendor high‑critical environments. The role requires an autonomous, results‑oriented professional with ownership, capable not just to execute technical changes but also to analyze, document, standardise and continuously improve operations. This position will play a key role in the stability and security of the corporate infrastructure, closely collaborating with networking, architecture, operations and external vendors to ensure continuity of services.Principal responsibilitiesManage and resolve perimeter security incidents related to firewalls, policies, connectivity and flows between sites, datacenters and corporate services.Administer and provide operational support to Check Point platforms, including analysis of rules, objects, NAT, logs, sessions and traffic troubleshooting.Provide support on Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, participating in incidents, requirements and configuration changes.Work with the Networking team to diagnose connectivity problems and determine if the root is routing, firewall, NAT, security policies or external dependencies.Manage firewall changes in a controlled manner, performing impact analysis, post‑validation and complete documentation.Support perimeter security incidents in business centres, remote offices, plant sites and datacenters.Participate in scenarios involving WAF/F5, collaborating in diagnostics and escalation processes.Act as technical N2/N3 escalation point for firewall incidents and closely collaborate with the Security Architect.Document operational procedures, troubleshooting guides,



technical validations and recurring solutions.Continue incidents and changes transferred from international teams for coverage reasons.Maintain constant and proactive communication during critical incidents, ensuring end‑to‑end tracking.Contribute to operational risk reduction through standardisation and knowledge transfer.Desired skills and qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Network and Telecommunications Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related major.Availability to work in shifts aligned with operations in the United States, Canada and Spain.Advanced bilingual English (will be evaluated).Solid, verifiable experience administering and troubleshooting Check Point platforms.Advanced knowledge of firewall policies, rules, objects, NAT, traffic analysis, logs and access and connectivity incident resolution.Experience with Palo Alto Networks.Operational knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate.Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, subnetting, protocols and connectivity troubleshooting.Ability to diagnose complex incidents involving multiple technologies such as firewall, network, DNS, DHCP, proxy,
