The Position The Accounting and Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the accounting, financial control, payment approval, reporting, audit, and compliance processes for the operations in Chile and Colombia. The role ensures accuracy of accounting records, supports monthly closing activities, coordinates payment workflows, maintains financial traceability, and provides accounting and tax information required by internal and external stakeholders. Main Activities and Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Accounting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with corporate deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial performance indicators.
• Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and prepare financial reports for local and regional management. Budgeting and Financial Analysis
• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor budget execution, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct cost, profitability, and financial performance analyses to support business decision-making. Accounting Operations and Internal Control
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable legal requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Support the improvement and standardization of accounting and administrative procedures. Expense, Payment, and OA Management
• Review and approve OAs, expense reports, supplier invoices, and payment requests, ensuring proper accounting allocation, supporting documentation, and compliance with internal policies.
• Coordinate weekly payment processes for Chile and Colombia, consolidating approved requests and submitting payment schedules to Treasury.
• Monitor payment status, resolve payment-related issues, and ensure transaction traceability. Audit, Tax,



and Compliance
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate accounting, financial, and tax information with the required documentation.
• Assist with local tax obligations and tax filings in coordination with external advisors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations in Chile and Colombia. Systems and Continuous Improvement
• Utilize ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel tools for accounting management, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process optimization, and strengthening financial controls. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate closely with Treasury, Tax, Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, and other business areas.
• Act as a liaison between local operations and regional Finance teams, ensuring timely and reliable financial information. Education and Minimum Requirements
• Required

Experience:
4 to 6 years of experience in accounting, finance, management control, or financial analysis roles, preferably in multinational companies or regional operations.

Education:
University degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English required, with the ability to communicate and prepare reports in a regional or international environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with data analytics and automation tools is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of monthly accounting close, reconciliations, financial statement analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and accounting standards. Knowledge of Chilean and/or Colombian tax processes is desirable. Work Location and Status
