The Accountant works in the AFC department that takes care of supporting the strategic activities of the company, managing administrative processes and information of an economic, accounting and financial nature. Responsibilities
• Prepare and post accounting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with internal policies.
• Download, review, and maintain accounting documentation and invoices from digital platforms.
• Manage fixed asset records, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Support project invoicing activities and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare internal financial reports and provide support for audits and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Support special projects and other finance-related activities as required. Requeriments
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance,



or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting roles.
• Based in the Santiago Metropolitan Area and available to work in a hybrid model, on-site environment at least 3 days per week.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Experience in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of fixed asset accounting and depreciation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and continuous improvement approach.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, to communicate with international stakeholders.
