The Opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs, Emerging Affiliates, as the Cluster Medical Lead , you will be responsible for the delivery of the medical strategy plan and execution of scientific activities in the cluster countries of Colombia , Argentina and Chile , and this position can be based in any of these countries.
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring high quality scientific medical input and clinical strategic direction to support the Therapeutic Area teams to deliver growth in the cluster.
You will provide and ensure medical expertise and guide medical strategies at regional level, and pro-actively collaborating cross functionally with multiple areas, including sales business experience/degree desirable.
Minimum 10 years' pharmaceutical/ biotherapeutics industry relevant experience to allow for clinical experience), preferably in a medical sub-specialty relevant to CSL product lines, which should include both clinical research and medical affairs to senior level.
Required fluency in both Spanish and English, oral and written, to include the ability to read and write emails and communicate effectively with global colleagues.
Strong and demonstrable team and cross-functional leadership capability, including second line management.
Proven Leadership track record Experience in managing people-managers.
In depth knowledge of product literature and publications (and competitor) relevant to therapy area.
Travel Requirements: Domestic and international travel up to 50% time.
Technical Skills: Uses deep understanding of the therapy area and key data , to develop and implement Ipsen strategy within the scope of the role.
Evaluates BD opportunities to assess relevance.
Actively engages and involves relevant stakeholders to coordinate GMA activities.
Has broad experience of different types of clinical trials design and execution (if applicable).
Lead strategy to design and execute the most appropriate type of studies.




Deep understanding of the strategy and anticipation of data generation and limitations.
Has deep understanding and experience of working with MI and Safety teams and in the relevant processes and is fully compliant within these.
Understands accountabilities for safety oversight of the cluster programs, identifies and can propose corrective action of any deficiencies that can impact the PV/MI system performance/compliance.
Ability to oversee a broad range of insights and translating them into national relevant strategic decisions in the short as well as long term.
Guides global/local stakeholder engagement strategy and ensures high impact execution.
Ability to set up a network of international/national top TL and ensuring stakeholder insights input on senior management level.
Ability to set up well defined KPIs to measure valuable TL engagement and impactful execution.
Considering the organizations broader context and therapeutic area needs, plans a clear strategy for communication and selects the most appropriate information and presentation format/speakers for different audiences.
Highly proficient in summarizing key data sets.
